Future Music Festival Asia will lands in Malaysia this March 17, 2012
in Kuala Lumpur with great DJ lineups. Be ready to experience in more

The first edition of FMF Asia will take place at the Sepang
International Circuit and will be the official opening event

Last weekend i went to a bookstore called Kinokuniya at KLCC..
I was waiting for my wife to buy her books...Between that time,
i was randomly flipping few books just to buy me some times...
Then my eyes spotted at a very unique and interesting title on
a book...i didnt remember exactly the name of that particular book..
All i know it was about Hitler have survived the World WAr 2...There
are many theories on that subject...As im one of his biggest fan,
i took my own initiative to look it up on google...Then i saw
lotta posts bout how he survived...At first the Russians claimed
that Hitler was kept safe by Americans and the British...Later was
revealed that it was nothing but Stalins mind game at the beginning
of the Cold War...Years and years have passed since 30 April 1945...
Yet so often somebody claims to have seen Hitler himself...Alive
and kicking...Theories were born each day one claimed that Hitler
had escaped to Argentina...In September 1945...a man saw Hitler
and Martin Bormann his private secretary sailing out of Hamburg...
The Allies had to take every sighting seriously but after conducting
an investigation...this theory was declared - groundless...In 1947,
one theory sparked the imagination of the audience...William F. Heimlich
an American former intelligence officer spoke up...telling that Hitler
was alive hiding in Europe...His theory was believable since he devoted
the years after the war searching for Hitler...He claimed that Hitler
and Bormann escaped the bunker and Berlin with the help from certain
people...The famous skull fragment believed to belong to Hitler has
recently been dismissed as evidence...The fragment possessed by the
Russians shows that the bullet hole is too small compared to a Walther
PPK the gun Hitler used...Furthermore the fragment looks clean while
it should be more damaged knowing that Hitler's body was almost totally burned...Recently has been revealed that the famous fragment belongs to
a female between 20 and 40 years of age...Could be just one of many
war victims...In my opinion, Hitler is not that stupid to kill himself
just like that...He is the most intelligent leader that time...I know
that his fake death was a set up...and he managed to escape away from
Berlin...I dont know how true is this report is..but i just wanna share

Until yesterday, we had learned that Adolf Hitler and his wife Eva Braun committed suicide in Hitler’s Berlin bunker as Soviet troops fought only blocks away. New investigations had shown that while remains were found in the bunker, none of them was that of Hitler’s.

“The escape of Hitler had always been a myth,” said United States Federal Bureau of Investigations spokesperson Andrew Schumacher. “Today, we concluded that it was true. Artifacts recently discovered in Argentina indicated that Hitler had escaped by submarine to Argentina and lived for over 30 years.”

According to the information made public by the FBI, the case on Hitler took a backseat in the late 1940s, but it was never officially closed. Despite a very small budget, the team was able to track down several European and South American leads, ultimately finding a cellar in an unassuming house in an unnamed village some distance from the relatively remote town of Iruya in Northern Argentina. In the cellar, a metal WW2-era German Army ammunition box was found. Among the few items inside was a photo of Hitler, weary in appearance, shaking hands with a German Navy submarine captain. In the background, the presence of floss silk trees, unique to South America, is undeniable; this photograph serves as one of the key pieces of evidence of Hitler’s escape. It is hypothesized that Hitler had taken one of the final flights out of Berlin and left behind him an anonymous body double (who might had been murdered for the Soviets to discover). Via the Norwegian coast, he was taken by a submarine to Argentina.

Nevertheless the incredible irony is that it was Germanys nuclear
bombs which ultimately allowed Hitler to remain "undiscovered" for
nearly two decades after World War II. The German High Command made
an "arrangement" with America at the end of WWII -- the Germans supplied
the Americans with their hidden atomic bombs and trigger mechanisms, and
the Americans agreed not to go after Adolf Hitler and friends in Argentina.
This is why one of the most respected nuclear physicists involved in the
Manhattan Project, Dr. Robert Oppenheimer, stated in straight, factual
language rather than the metaphorical hyperbole with which his remark
was first greeted, that "...America's nuclear weapons were made in Germany."
It so happened that they actually had been made in Germany - by German scientists! The grand irony is that the two nuclear bombs which the U.S. dropped on
Hiroshima and Nagasaki (as warnings to Russia, which did not declare "war"
on Japan until a week before Japan surrendered to The Allies) were from
Germany's arsenal of nuclear weapons.

Now you know the secret and the reason why America and England never went
after Hitler and his SS associates in Argentina...

PERSONAL APPEARANCE

1.Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to

3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids.
You may need to stand on the lid.

4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash"
and rinse." Don't worry -- kitty won't go "down the tube," cause she

6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.

8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom,
and run outside where she will dry herself off.

Instructions:

1. To begin, download the CF-Root file and extract it to find
CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS.tar.
2. Make sure your device is disconnected from the computer and then start ODIN.
3. Click on the PDA button in ODIN and select the file named
CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS.tar.
4. Now put your phone in download mode and connect it to your computer.
( shut down first + power on + Volume down )
5. Make sure to see that REPARTITION is not checked.

Ini adalah kisah benar tentang pengorbanan seorang ibu ketika gempa bumi melanda Jepun. Ketika gempa bumi telah reda, sewaktu pasukan penyelamat tiba di sebuah rumah yang telah musnah milik seorang wanita muda, mereka terlihat sekujur badan dicelah-celah runtuhan tersebut. Kedudukan bentuk badannya agak pelik seolah-olah dia sedang melutut (seperti orang yg sedang bersembahyang/berdoa), dengan badannye menunduk ke hadapan dan kedua-dua tangannya seperti diampu sesuatu objek. Runtuhan rumah tersebut telah terkena pada bahagian belakang dan kepalanya.

Ketua pasukan penyelamat dengan bersungguh-sungguh cuba untuk mencapai wanita tersebut melalui celahan runtuhan tersebut dengan harapan wanita tersebut masih hidup. Namun begitu, keadaan badan wanita tersebut yg sejuk dan kaku menunjukkan yang dia sudah tiada lagi. Pasukan penyelamat lantas terus meninggalkan rumah wanita tersebut.

Tiba-tiba, ketua pasukan penyelamat merasakan seperti ade sesuatu yang tidak kena, lalu berpatah balik ke rumah tersebut. Dia telah berlutut sekali lagi dan cuba mncapai sedaya upayanya dicelah runtuhan untuk mencapai sedikit ruang kosong di bawah mayat wanita tersebut. Tiba-tiba, dia menjerit, “ada bayi, ada bayi disini!!” Lantas seluruh pasukan penyelamat bekerjasama mengalihakn sisa runtuhan disekeliling mayat wanita tersebut. Ape yang mereka lihat ada seorang bayi lelaki yang berusia 3bulan yang berbalut deangan selimut di dalam pelukan wanita tersebut. Ternyata wanita tersebut telah terkorban ketika melindungi bayinya. Ketika gempa bumi berlaku, dia telah menggunakan tubuhnya sebagai perisai pelindung bagi bayinya. Bayi tersebut masih nyenyak tidur ketika ketua pasukan penyelamat mengangkatnya keluar dari celah runtuhan.

The S1 tablet is the 9.4 inch tablet and it will use the NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor. There is an infrared sensor that will enable you to use the tablet as a remote for other Sony gadgets. Sony S1 has 2 cameras and it supports DLNA to allow streaming of media from the tablet to other devices. The wedge design will make it easier to hold.

The next one is Sony S2 that has 2, 5 1/2 inch screens. You can use the screens together and even run separate apps on each. The screens boast of 1024×480 pixels each and it has an ergonomic cylindrical shape when folded. S2 will also use the NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The tablets will be ready for 3G and 4G when it arrives in stores by fall. The prices are quite steep but still unconfirmed. Listen to her opinions or ideas. Appreciate her as she is and never underestimate her intelligence. Treat her as an equal. Call her in advance to make plans to go out and never assume that she doesn’t have anything better already scheduled..

Listen to her and respond in a non-condescending manner. Be there for her if she’s crying or upset by holding her. Compliment her… if you think she is beautiful say it! “beautiful” is so much more respectful than “hot”. Love and learn to appreciate her for who she is, as well as her body type. Don’t try and change her physically, just love her natural beauty.

Hold hands with her on the street…don’t be ashamed to be romantic and when you meet up with your friends, introduce her. Don’t ever cheat on her…talk things through.

Be a gentleman! Look out for her feelings, accept her values/morals, be interested in her life, ask her what’s going on, be helpful, never put her down, if she’s wrong don’t go out of your way to prove her. Be nice and treat her like she is special. Don’t push her to do things she is not ready for. Treat her with respect and pay attention to the small things.

Don’t put her down, or make her feel uncomfortable when you are hanging out together with your friends or your parents, Stand up for her, if one of your friends puts her down, confront them and tell them that it is not okay.

Jam 6.30 petang.

Mak berdiri di depan pintu. Wajah Mak kelihatan resah. Mak tunggu adik bungsu balik dari sekolah agama.

Ayah baru balik dari sawah.

Ayah tanya Mak, “Along mana?’

Mak jawab, “ Ada di dapur tolong siapkan makan.”

Ayah tanya Mak lagi,” Angah mana?”

Mak jawab, “Angah mandi, baru balik main bola.”

Ayah tanya Mak, “Ateh mana?”

Mak jawab, “Ateh, Kak Cik tengok tv dengan Alang di dalam?”

Ayah tanya lagi, “Adik dah balik?”

Mak jawab, “Belum. Patutnya dah balik. Basikal adik rosak kot. Kejap lagi kalau tak balik juga jom kita pergi cari Adik.”

Mak jawab soalan ayah penuh yakin. Tiap-tiap hari ayah tanya soalan yang sama. Mak jawab penuh perhatian. Mak ambil berat di mana anak-anak Mak dan bagaimana keadaan anak-anak Mak setiap masa dan setiap ketika.
Dua puluh tahun kemudian,

Jam 6.30 petang

Ayah balik ke rumah. Baju ayah basah. Hujan turun sejak tengahari.

Ayah tanya Along, “Mana Mak?”

Along sedang membelek-belek baju barunya. Along jawab, “Tak tahu.”

Ayah tanya Angah, “Mana Mak?”

Angah menonton tv. Angah jawab, “Mana Angah tahu.”

Ayah tanya Ateh, “Mana Mak?”

Ayah menunggu lama jawapan dari Ateh yang asyik membaca majalah.

Ayah tanya Ateh lagi, "Mana Mak?"

Ateh menjawab, “Entah.”

Ateh terus membaca majalah tanpa menoleh kepada Ayah.

Ayah tanya Alang, “Mana Mak?”

Alang tidak jawab. Alang hanya mengoncang bahu tanda tidak tahu.

Ayah tidak mahu tanya Kak Cik dan Adik yang sedang melayan facebook. Ayah tahu yang Ayah tidak akan dapat jawapan yang ayah mahu.

Tidak ada siapa tahu di mana Mak. Tidak ada siapa merasa ingin tahu di mana Mak. Mata dan hati anak-anak Mak tidak pada Mak. Hanya mata dan hati Ayah yang mencari-cari di mana Mak.

Tidak ada anak-anak Mak yang tahu setiap kali ayah bertanya, "Mana Mak?"

Tiba-tiba adik bungsu bersuara, “Mak ni dah senja-senja pun merayap lagi. Tak reti nak balik!!”

Tersentap hati Ayah mendengar kata-kata Adik.

Dulu anak-anak Mak akan berlari mendakap Mak apabila balik dari sekolah. Mereka akan tanya "Mana Mak?" apabila Mak tidak menunggu mereka di depan pintu.

Mereka akan tanya, "Mana Mak." Apabila dapat nomor 1 atau kaki melecet main bola di padang sekolah. Mak resah apabila anak-anak Mak lambat balik. Mak mahu tahu di mana semua anak-anaknya berada setiap waktu dan setiap ketika.

Sekarang anak-anak sudah besar. Sudah lama anak-anak Mak tidak bertanya 'Mana Mak?"

Semakin anak-anak Mak besar, soalan "Mana Mak?" semakin hilang dari bibir anak-anak Mak .

Ayah berdiri di depan pintu menunggu Mak. Ayah resah menunggu Mak kerana sudah senja sebegini Mak masih belum balik. Ayah risau kerana sejak akhir-akhir ini Mak selalu mengadu sakit lutut.

Dari jauh kelihatan sosok Mak berjalan memakai payung yang sudah uzur. Besi-besi payung tercacak keluar dari kainnya. Hujan masih belum berhenti. Mak menjinjit dua bungkusan plastik. Sudah kebiasaan bagi Mak, Mak akan bawa sesuatu untuk anak-anak Mak apabila pulang dari berjalan.

Sampai di halaman rumah Mak berhenti di depan deretan kereta anak-anak Mak. Mak buangkan daun-daun yang mengotori kereta anak-anak Mak. Mak usap bahagian depan kereta Ateh perlahan-lahan. Mak rasakan seperti mengusap kepala Ateh waktu Ateh kecil. Mak senyum. Kedua bibir Mak diketap repat. Senyum tertahan, hanya Ayah yang faham. Sekarang Mak tidak dapat lagi merasa mengusap kepala anak-anak seperti masa anak-anak Mak kecil dulu. Mereka sudah besar. Mak takut anak Mak akan menepis tangan Mak kalau Mak lakukannya.

Lima buah kereta milik anak-anak Mak berdiri megah. Kereta Ateh paling gah. Mak tidak tahu pun apa kehebatan kereta Ateh itu. Mak cuma suka warnanya. Kereta warna merah bata, warna kesukaan Mak. Mak belum merasa naik kereta anak Mak yang ini.

Baju mak basah kena hujan. Ayah tutupkan payung mak. Mak bagi salam. Salam Mak tidak berjawab. Terketar-ketar lutut Mak melangkah anak tangga. Ayah pimpin Mak masuk ke rumah. Lutut Mak sakit lagi.

Mak letakkan bungkusan di atas meja. Sebungkus rebung dan sebungkus kueh koci pemberian Mak Uda untuk anak-anak Mak. Mak Uda tahu anak-anak Mak suka makan kueh koci dan Mak malu untuk meminta untuk bawa balik. Namun raut wajah Mak sudah cukup membuat Mak Uda faham.

Semasa menerima bungkusan kueh koci dari Mak Uda tadi, Mak sempat berkata kepada Mak Uda, "Wah berebutlah budak-budak tu nanti nampak kueh koci kamu ni."

Sekurang-kurangnya itulah bayangan Mak. Mak bayangkan anak-anak Mak sedang gembira menikmati kueh koci sebagimana masa anak-anak Mak kecil dulu. Mereka berebut dan Mak jadi hakim pembuat keputusan muktamat. Sering kali Mak akan beri bahagian Mak supaya anak-anak Mak puas makan. Bayangan itu sering singgah di kepala Mak.

Ayah suruh Mak tukar baju yang basah itu. Mak akur.

Selepas Mak tukar baju, Ayah iring Mak ke dapur. Mak ajak anak-anak Mak makan kueh koci. Tidak seorang pun yang menoleh kepada Mak. Mata dan hati anak-anak Mak sudah bukan pada Mak lagi.

Mak hanya tunduk, akur dengan keadaan.

Ayah tahu Mak sudah tidak boleh mengharapkan anak-anak melompat-lompat gembira dan berlari mendakapnya seperti dulu.

Ayah temankan Mak makan. Mak menyuap nasi perlahan-lahan, masih mengharapkan anak-anak Mak akan makan bersama. Setiap hari Mak berharap begitu. Hanya Ayah yang duduk bersama Mak di meja makan setiap malam.

Ayah tahu Mak penat sebab berjalan jauh. Siang tadi Mak pergi ke rumah Mak Uda di kampung seberang untuk mencari rebung. Mak hendak masak rebung masak lemak cili api dengan ikan masin kesukaan anak-anak Mak.

Ayah tanya Mak kenapa Mak tidak telepon suruh anak-anak jemput. Mak jawab, "Saya dah suruh Uda telepon budak-budak ni tadi. Tapi Uda kata semua tak berangkat."

Mak minta Mak Uda telepon anak-anak yang Mak tidak boleh berjalan balik sebab hujan. Lutut Mak akan sakit kalau sejuk. Ada sedikit harapan di hati Mak agar salah seorang anak Mak akan menjemput Mak dengan kereta. Mak teringin kalau Ateh yang datang menjemput Mak dengan kereta barunya. Tidak ada siapa yang datang jemput Mak.

Mak tahu anak-anak mak tidak sedar telepon berbunyi. Mak ingat kata-kata ayah , “Kita tak usah susahkan anak-anak. Selagi kita mampu kita buat saja sendiri apa-apa pun. Mereka ada kehidupan masing-masing. Tak p ayah sedih-sedih. Maafkan sajalah anak-anak kita. Tak apalah kalau tak merasa menaiki kereta mereka sekarang. Nanti kalau kita mati kita masih ada peluang merasa anak-anak mengangkat kita kat bahu mereka.”

Mak faham buah hati Mak semua sudah besar. Along dan Angah sudah beristeri. Ateh, Alang, Kak Cik dan Adik masing-masing sudah punya buah hati sendiri yang sudah mengambil tempat Mak di hati anak-anak Mak.

Pada suapan terakhir, setitik air mata Mak jatuh ke pinggan.
Kueh koci masih belum diusik oleh anak-anak Mak.

Beberapa tahun kemudian

Mak Uda tanya Along, Angah, Ateh, Alang, Kak Cik dan Adik, “Mana mak?”.

Hanya Adik yang jawab, “Mak dah tak ada.”

Along, Angah, Ateh, Alang, Kak Cik dan Adik tidak sempat melihat Mak waktu Mak sakit.

Kini Mak sudah berada di sisi Tuhannya bukan di sisi anak-anak Mak lagi.

Dalam isakan tangis, Along, Angah, Ateh, Alang, Kak Cik dan Adik menerpa kubur Mak. Hanya batu nisan yang berdiri terpacak. Batu nisan Mak tidak boleh bersuara. Batu nisan tidak ada tangan macam tangan Mak yang selalu memeluk erat anak-anaknya apabila anak-anak datang menerpa Mak semasa anak-anak Mak kecil dulu.

Mak pergi semasa Along, Angah, Ateh, Alang, Kak Cik dan Adik berada jauh di bandar. Kata Along, Angah, Ateh, Alang, Kak Cik dan Adik mereka tidak dengar handphone berbunyi semasa ayah telepon untuk beritahu mak sakit tenat.

Mak faham, mata dan telinga anak-anak Mak adalah untuk orang lain bukan untuk Mak.

Hati anak-anak Mak bukan milik Mak lagi. Hanya hati Mak yang tidak pernah diberikan kepada sesiapa, hanya untuk anak-anak Mak..

Mak tidak sempat merasa diangkat di atas bahu anak-anak Mak. Hanya bahu ayah yang sempat mengangkat jenazah Mak dalam hujan renyai.

Ayah sedih sebab tiada lagi suara Mak yang akan menjawab soalan Ayah,

"Mana Along?" , "Mana Angah?", "Mana Ateh?", "Mana Alang?", "Mana Kak Cik?" atau "Mana Adik?". Hanya Mak saja yang rajin menjawab soalan ayah itu dan jawapan Mak memang tidak pernah silap. Mak sentiasa yakin dengan jawapannya sebab mak ambil tahu di mana anak-anaknya berada pada setiap waktu dan setiap ketika. Anak-anak Mak sentiasa di hati Mak tetapi hati anak-anak Mak ada orang lain yang mengisinya.

Ayah sedih. Di tepi kubur Mak, Ayah bermonolog sendiri, "Mulai hari ini tidak perlu bertanya lagi kepada Along, Angah, Ateh, Alang, Kak Cik dan Adik , "Mana mak?" "

Kereta merah Ateh bergerak perlahan membawa Ayah pulang. Along, Angah, Alang dan Adik mengikut dari belakang. Hati ayah hancur teringat hajat Mak untuk naik kereta merah Ateh tidak kesampaian. Ayah terbayang kata-kata Mak malam itu, "Cantiknya kereta Ateh, kan Bang? Besok-besok Ateh bawalah kita jalan-jalan kat Kuala Lumpur tu. Saya akan buat kueh koci buat bekal."

"Ayah, ayah ....bangun." Suara Ateh memanggil ayah . Ayah pengsan sewaktu turun dari kereta Ateh..

Terketar-ketar ayah bersuara, "Mana Mak?"
Ayah tidak mampu berhenti menanya soalan itu. Sudah 10 tahun Mak pergi namun soalan "Mana Mak?" masih sering keluar dari mulut Ayah sehingga ke akhir usia.

Sebuah cerita pendek buat tatapan anak-anak yang kadang-kadang lupa perasaan ibu. Kata orang hidup seorang ibu waktu muda dilambung resah, apabila tua dilambung rasa. Kata Rasulullah saw. ibu 3 kali lebih utama dari ayah . Bayangkanlah berapa kali ibu lebih utama dari isteri, pekerjaan dan anak-anak sebenarnya. Solat sunat pun Allah suruh berhenti apabila ibu memanggil. Berapa kerapkah kita membiarkan deringan telepon panggilan dari ibu tanpa berjawab??

Aside from my family of course after examining my past relationships with people I realized that I've never come across genuine friendship...I mean I have had a lot of acquaintances but they remain acquaintances because those relationships hit a dead end whether it be lack of interest or growing apart...I never had a friend who was there for me through thick and thin or helps me out when I need it and looks out for me and values the time we spend together...Every time I have tried to open up and develop deeper bonds with people I have always ended up hurt in the end...They end up breaking my trust in one way or another...or they disappear when I really need help or they are just extremely selfish and ignorant bastards...

INTRODUCTION

Widespread rioting has occurred in England following the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man in Tottenham, Mark Duggan, by officers of the Metropolitan Police Service on 4 August 2011.

On 6 August 2011, about 200 people marched in Tottenham, including Duggan's relatives and local residents, and after waiting nearly three hours for official police answers on the death, several in the crowd became violent and rioting broke out. In the following days, disturbances occurred in other areas of the city, including Wood Green, Enfield Town, Ponders End and Brixton. Vandalism, arson, looting and violent disorder were also reported in several boroughs of London, extending as far south asCroydon. At least 111 police officers were injured. On 8 August, rioting and looting occurred in Birmingham, Liverpool,Nottingham, Bristol and Medway. More than 1,100 people have been arrested since the start of the disruption, and the Metropolitan Police have been authorised to use baton rounds and water cannon against rioters if deemed necessary.

SHOOTING OF MARK DUGGAN

The fatal shooting by police of 29-year-old Mark Duggan took place during a planned arrest on 4 August 2011 on the Ferry Lane bridge, next to Tottenham Hale station.
The incident was referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC). This is standard practice whenever a member of the public dies as a result of police action. It is not yet known why police were attempting to arrest Duggan, but the IPCC said that the planned arrest was part of Operation Trident, a unit which investigates gun crime in London. Operation Trident specialises in combating gun crime relating to the illegal drug trade.
Friends and relatives of Duggan, an alleged crack cocaine dealer and member of the 'Star Gang', claimed that he was unarmed. The IPCC stated that Duggan was carrying a loaded handgun, and that there was no evidence that Duggan shot at the police.
After the shooting, the media widely reported that a bullet was found embedded in a police radio, implying Duggan fired on the police.The Guardian reported that initial ballistics tests on the bullet recovered from the police radio and another also claimed to have been fired by Duggan indicate that both were "very distinct" police issue hollow-point bullets.

PROTEST MARCH

On 6 August, a protest was held, initially peacefully, beginning at Broadwater Farm and finishing at Tottenham police station. The protest was organised by friends and relatives of Duggan to make a request for justice for the family. The group of some 200 people that marched on the police station included local residents, community leaders, and Duggan family members who were demanding to speak with a senior local police officer. They stayed in front of the police station hours longer than they originally planned because the police refused to speak with them. According to eyewitnesses, a younger and more aggressive crowd arrived at the scene around dusk, some of whom were carrying weapons. Violence erupted on the rumour that police had attacked a 16-year-old girl.

1. Smoking lowers risk of knee-replacement surgery

While smokers might go broke buying a pack of cigarettes, they can at least save money by avoiding knee-replacement surgery. Surprising results from a new study have revealed that men who smoke had less risk of undergoing total joint replacement surgery than those who never smoked.

The study, from the University of Adelaide in Australia, appears in the July issue of the journal Arthritis & Rheumatism. What could be the connection? Knee-replacement surgery was more common among joggers and the obese smokers rarely jog and they are less likely to be morbidly obese.

After controlling for age, weight and exercise, the researchers were at a loss to explain the apparent, albeit slight protective effects of smoking for osteoporosis. It could be that the nicotine in tobacco helps prevent cartilage and joint deterioration.

2. Smoking lowers risk of Parkinson's disease

Numerous studies have identified the uncanny inverse relationship between smoking and Parkinson's disease. Long-term smokers are somehow protected against Parkinson's and its not because smokers die of other things earlier.

The most recent, well-conducted study was published in a March 2010 issue of the journal Neurology. Far from determining a cause for the protective effect, these researchers found that the number of years spent smoking, more so than the number of cigarettes smoked daily, mattered more for a stronger protective effect.

Harvard researchers were among the first to provide convincing evidence that smokers were less likely to develop Parkinson's. In a study published in Neurology in March 2007, these researchers found the protective effect wanes after smokers quit. And they concluded in their special scientific way that they didn't have a clue as to why.

3. Smoking lowers risk of obesity

Smoking — and, in particular, the nicotine in tobacco smoke — is an appetite suppressant. This has been known for centuries, dating back to indigenous cultures in America in the pre-Columbus era. Tobacco companies caught on by the 1920s and began targeting women with the lure that smoking would make them thinner.

A study published in the July 2011 issue of the journal Physiology & Behavior, in fact is one of many stating that the inevitable weight gain upon quitting smoking is a major barrier in getting people to stop, second only to addiction.

The relationship between smoking and weight control is complex: Nicotine itself acts as both a stimulant and appetite suppressant; and the act of smoking triggers behavior modification that prompts smokers to snack less. Smoking also might make food less tasty for some smokers, further curbing appetite. As an appetite suppressant, nicotine appears to act on a part of the brain called the hypothalamus, at least in mice, as revealed in a study by Yale researchers published in the June 10, 2011 issue of the journal Science.

No respectable doctor would recommend smoking for weight control, given the toxic baggage accompanying cigarettes. This recent Yale study, however, does offer an inkling of hope for a safe diet drug to help obese people control their appetites.

4. Smoking lowers risk of death after some heart attacks

Compared with non-smokers, smokers who have had heart attacks seem to have lower mortality rates and more favorable responses to two kinds of therapy to remove plaque from their arteries: fibrinolytic therapy, which is basically medication; and angioplasty, which removes the plaque by inserting balloons or stents into the arteries.

There's a catch, though. The reason why smokers have heart attacks is that smoke scars the arteries, allowing fat and plaque to build up in the first place. So, one theory as to why smokers do better than non-smokers after such therapies is that they are younger, experiencing their first heart attack approximately 10 years before the non-smoker.

A study published in an August 2005 issue of the American Heart Journal, however, states that age alone is not enough to fully explain the survival differences and that "the smoker's paradox is alive and well." No alternative theories have been put forth since.

5. Smoking helps the heart drug clopidogrel work better

Clopidogrel is a drug used to inhibit blood clots for those patients suffering from coronary artery disease and other circulatory diseases leading to strokes and heart attacks. Smoking seems to help clopidogrel do its job better.

A study by Korean researchers in the October 2010 issue of the journal Thrombosis Research builds upon work by Harvard researchers published in 2009 that demonstrates the benefit of smoking at least 10 cigarettes a day. It seems that something in cigarette smoke activates certain proteins called cytochromes, which convert clopidogrel into a more active state.

Again, no respectable doctor is encouraging patients to start smoking to get the most out of clopidogrel. But this and the other four "benefits" of smoking reveal how tobacco — perhaps not unlike other potentially toxic plants — might contain certain chemicals of real therapeutic value.

6. Smoking Relieves Stress

This is the most common thing you hear from smokers about the benefits of smoking. This is because cigarettes create a myriad of conditions that help the body deal with anxiety, stress, and depression.

7. Smoking Relaxes Your Breathing

The way you breathe when you smoke helps your body relax and calm down. For people who have panic attacks or stress problems, Doctors recommend patients practice a sort of breathing called relaxation breathing. Among other things, it involves taking a deep breath into the lungs and holding it in for a second or two before exhaling. This is exactly like the act of smoking. This kind of breathing slows your heart rate and relieves tension in your muscles, especially your neck and upper back, which tense up in stressful situations.

Introduction

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and surface vessels allegedly disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Popular culture has attributed these disappearances to the paranormal or activity by extraterrestrial beings. Documented evidence indicates that a significant percentage of the incidents were inaccurately reported or embellished by later authors, and numerous official agencies have stated that the number and nature of disappearances in the region is similar to that in any other area of ocean.

The Bermuda Triangle is an imaginary triangle in the Atlantic Ocean. It starts in Florida and goes to Puerto Rico then to Bermuda then back to Miami. There have been many unexplained disappearances in that area, although many ships and planes go through safely everyday. There have been many disappearances including the WWII airplane squadron Flight 19. Other pilots have reported seeing little balls of light flying next to their airplanes. Some pilots have reported seeing wakes on the water caused by boats,(hundreds of them) but there were no boats in the water. The Mary Celeste was found with no one on board. Some of these mysteries have been linked to science, but what happened to Flight 19 ? There was never any evidence of airplane wreckage.

Many people have tried experiments, but no sure answer has been found. Christopher Columbus said that he saw lights in the sky, and his compass wasn't showing guidance at all. Some scientists believe that the light that they saw go into the water was just a comet that crashed into the ocean, and the compass problem might have been caused by wind or someone with a magnet. Some scientists explain some disappearances caused by natural phenomenon such as lightning or whirlpools. Some people even believe that there are under water causes that sunk some shipsa. One ship was found in a cave. Other people think that some ships went underwater and sunk into sand and are totally covered. The water is so deep that investigators may never know if that happened.

Theories

Countless theories attempting to explain the many disappearances have been offered throughout the history of the area. The most practical seem to be environmental and those citing human error. The majority of disappearances can be attributed to the area's unique environmental features.

It has been said that the "Devil's Triangle" is one of the two places on earth that a magnetic compass does point towards true north. Normally it points toward magnetic north. The difference between the two is known as compass variation. The amount of variation changes by as much as 20 degrees as one circumnavigates the earth. If this is the case and a compass variation or error is not compensated for, a navigator could find himself far off course and in deep trouble.

Another environmental factor is the character of the Gulf Stream. It is extremely swift and turbulent and can quickly erase any evidence of a disaster. The unpredictable Caribbean-Atlantic weather pattern also plays its role. Sudden local thunder storms and water spouts often spell disaster for pilots and mariners. Finally, the topography of the ocean floor varies from extensive shoals around the islands to some of the deepest marine trenches in the world. With the interaction of the strong currents over the many reefs the topography is in a state of constant flux and development of new navigational hazards is swift. Not to be under estimated is the human error factor. A large number of pleasure boats travel the waters between Florida's Gold Coast and the Bahamas. All too often, crossings are attempted with too small a boat, insufficient knowledge of the area's hazards, and a lack of good seamanship.

People think that air planes are sucked into a black holes and just disappear. The Black Hole hides behind a cloud. Although some people cross through it everyday, like military carriers and jets and cruises, people are still afraid to even go through it. Other people believe that UFOs have flown down and have captured all of the ships. No one has proved this, but many people have tried. People think that a small UFO has flown down and shot the space shuttle Challenger.

A long lost love letter takes up more than 50 years to arrive at California University of Pennsylvania. Christine Kindl, the spokesman of the university said the love letter was postmarked February 20, 1958 and addressed to a student named Clark C. Moore arrived earlier last week.

The letter was sent from Pittsburgh, and signed with “True Love, Vonnie”.

School officials tried to find Clark C. Moore, that should be around 70 years old, they were searching through files and internet, they even searched via Facebook, but they couldn’t find anything about him.

Finally, it turns out he had changed his name to Muhammad Siddeeq, now 74 years old. After his family members and his friends heard the news about the letter sent to a student with his former name. California University of Pennsylvania is forwarding the letter to Muhammad Siddeeq at Indianapolis.

Siddeeq said he has mixed emotions when he knew about it. Maybe you’re hoping this is a romantic true love story. Well, the fact is he and Vonnie are divorced, and she declined to speak to the newspaper about their story.

Presiden Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, ketika di wawancara oleh stesen Televisyen Fox (AS) tentang kehidupan peribadinya:

“Ketika anda melihat cermin setiap pagi, apa yang anda katakan pada diri anda?” Jawabnya: “Saya melihat orang di cermin itu dan mengatakan padanya: “Ingat, kau tidak lebih dari seorang pelayan, hari di depanmu penuh dengan tanggungjawab yang berat, iaitu melayani bangsa Iran.”

Berikut adalah gambaran Ahmadinejad, yang membuat orang terkagum dan terkesima :

1. Saat pertama kali menduduki pejabat Presiden beliau menyumbangkan seluruh karpet Istana Iran yang sangat tinggi nilainya itu kepada masjid-masjid di Teheran dan menggantikannya dengan karpet biasa yang mudah dibersihkan.

2. Beliau mendapati bahawa terdapat ruangan yang sangat besar untuk menerima dan menyambut tetamu VIP, lalu beliau mengeluarkan arahan untuk menutup ruang tersebut dan menyuruh pegawai istana untuk menggantikannya dengan ruang yang biasa dengan 2 kursi kayu. Walaupun nampak sederhana tetapi terlihat menakjubkan.

3. Di banyak kesempatan, beliau dikenali sebagai seorang yang suka berjenaka dengan petugas kebersihan di sekitar rumah dan pejabat presidennya.

4. Di bawah kepimpinannya, ketika beliau meminta menteri-menterinya untuk datang kepadanya dan menteri-menteri tersebut akan menerima sebuah dokumen yang ditandatangani yang mempunyai arahan-arahan darinya, arahan tersebut terutama sekali menekankan para menteri-menterinya untuk hidup secara sederhana dan disebutkan bahawa segala rekod peribadi mahupun ahli keluarga terdekat mereka akan diawasi, sehingga pada saat menteri-menteri tersebut keluar dari pejabatnya, mereka keluar dengan kepala menegak.

5. Langkah pertama beliau ketika itu ialah mengumumkan kekayaan dan harta benda beliau yang terdiri dari Peugeot 504 tahun 1977, sebuah rumah sederhana warisan ayahnya 40 tahun yang lalu di sebuah daerah di Teheran. Rekod banknya mempunyai baki paling minimum, dan satu-satunya wang yang masuk adalah gaji bulanannya.

6. Gajinya sebagai pensyarah di sebuah universiti hanya senilai US$ 250 (RM 750).

7. Ahmadinejad masih tinggal di rumah warisan ayahnya. Apa itu bersih? Kenapa bersih haram? Kenapa bersih berhimpun?

Rupa-rupanya walaupun BERSIH 2.0 ini tersangatlah popular, rupa-rupanya masih ramai yang tidak tahu apa itu bersih 2.0. Jutaan terima kasih kepada media yang sentiasa bekerja keras untuk mempromosikan BERSIH 2.O.

Bersih dalam segi bahasa bermaksud kesucian dari segala jenis kekotoran dan pencemaran. Bersih juga merupakan bahagian daripada iman. Dan bersih juga satu amalan yang mulia.

Tetapi kenapa BERSIH haram?

Perkataan Bersih menjadi kontoversi dan perkataan itu haram dicetak pada baju atau dibuat poster bila 10 Oktober 2007 yang lalu telah berlakunya perhimpunan aman yang mencecah angka ratusan ribu rakyat yang berkumpul dan berarak secara aman untuk menghantar Memorandum kepada DYMM AGONG untuk menuntut 8 perkara utama . Mereka berhimpun demi menuntut pilihanraya yang bersih lagi adil. Perhimpunan bersih 2007 itu telah menyebabkan UMNO hilang 5 buah negeri oleh pembangkang walaupun tuntutan rakyat supaya dakwat kekal digunakan kepada pengundi telah dibatalkan penggunaanya disaat-saat akhir. Namun, dengan pilihanraya yang bersih dan telus, pembangkan berjaya mendapatkan 5 negeri untuk ditadbirkan oleh Pakatan rakyat.

Maka tahun ini, sebelum menjelang pilihanraya, bersih kembali lagi dengan nama BERSIH 2.0 yang masih sama tuntutanya iaitu;

-Bersihkan senarai undi

-Mereformasikan undi pos

-Gunakan dakwat kekal

-Akses media bebas & adil

-Masa berkempen minima 21 hari

-Kukuhkan institusi awam

-Hentikan rasuah

Perkataan bersih dan warna KUNING yang merupakan warna tema BERSIH dan BERSIH 2.0 telah menjadi satu ancaman kepada negara. Rakyat yang memakai baju kuning dan tertera perkataan BERSIH merupakan satu kesalah di negara ini.

Masih ramai yang tertanya-tanya kenapa bersih 2.0 haram, ini kerana, jika dilihat pada tuntutannya, tuntutan bersih adalah munasabah sebagai rakyat dan menuntut pilihanraya yang bersih dan telus bukan semata-mata untuk mana-mana parti, tetapi untuk kesemua rakyat di negara ini.

Jika dikatakan perhimpunan itu haram, united malay national organization harus ingat, united malay national organization ditubuhkan selepas berlakunya berhimpunan rakyat kerana menentang prinsip jus soli dilaksanakan oleh gagasan Malayan Union.

Bukankah Artikel 10 Perlembagaan Persekutuan menjamin bahawa setiap warganegara Malaysia berhak bersuara dan mengeluarkan pendapat disamping berhak berhimpun secara aman. Kenapa meraka kata perhimpunan bersih haram.

Mereka kata, perhimpunan aman itu akan bertukar kepada tidak aman. Mana ilmu mereka dapat sehingga mampu membaca masa hadapan. Dan kenapa polis hari ini diberi tugas untuk menghalang perhimpunan BERSIH 2.0. Polis ini milik rakyat, dan seharusnya polis menjaga rakyat. Dan jika polis menjaga keamanan perhimpunan BERSIH 2.0 seperti mana polis menjaga keamanan ketika konsert konsert justin bieber tempoh hari. Insyallah semua berjalan dengan lancar, ini kerana rakyat hanya datang untuk menghantar Memorandum kepada DYMM AGONG untuk menuntut 8 perkara utama.

1.Move in Closer

Each time you spot a subject, snap a shot and
then move in closer for a better shot. Having
your subject almost fill the frame helps your
viewer understand and appreciate your photo.
Also, details are often more interesting than
an overall view.

Keep moving in closer until you are sure the
photo will successfully represent your subject.

2.Be Quick

f it is at all possible that your subject may
move, bolt, fly away, stop smiling, or just
get tired of waiting for you to take the picture,
shoot once right away.

Practice getting quicker and quicker to the draw.

Do not worry about taking too many pictures and
do not wait until you're absolutely certain all
the knobs and buttons are in their correct position.

As the motto of one of BetterPhoto old t-shirts states,
"Shoot First, Ask Questions Later."

3.Compose Your Picture with Care

Even if you don't plan on selling your photo to the
Smithsonian, make every effort to keep it balanced
and beautiful. On one level or another, everyone
responds better to a picture that has all elements
in balance.

Strive to lead the eye along an interesting path
through the photo, with the use of strong lines or patterns.

* Keep the horizon level;
* Crop out extra elements that you are not interested in
(more on this is the next tip)
* Consciously place your subject where you think
it most belongs rather than just accepting it
wherever it happens to land in the photo;
* Play with perspective so that all lines show a
pattern or lead the eye to your main subject;
* Work with the Rule of Thirds.

4.Be Selective

Discern what you are really interested in and center
your efforts on getting the best photo of this subject,
whether it a still life, your funny cat, your doggy,
a friend, a family matter, a mood, a place or culture.

Then be sure to keep anything that would distract
out of the picture.

The easiest way to do this is to watch your borders -
the edges of the view you see through the camera's
viewfinder. Then recompose if anything - such as an
unattractive telephone wire, an old soda can, a
distracting sign, your finger, or your camera strap -
hangs into your picture.

It can become more difficult if you want to, say,
shoot a San Francisco cable car without a single
distracting telephone line. But even in such a
difficult case, you have many options.
You can:

* Focus in on a close-up that tells the whole story
* Move around until you arrange the telephone
lines into a neat pattern that leads to the subject
* Take a panning shot that makes the cable car remain
in focus while the background goes blurry.

5.Focus on Your Subject

Practice shooting with different apertures and monitor
the results afterwards to learn how depth-of-field
affects your photo.

You will find that a smaller depth-of-field
(and smaller f-stop #) focuses all the attention upon
your subject. This is great for taking a picture of
your child, your dog, or your husband - subjects stand
out against a blurry background.

Likewise, you will find that a greater depth-of-field
(bigger f-stop number) will make everything from here
to eternity appear in focus. This will help make those
landscapes fascinating and lovely.

You will also want to become familiar with the way
your camera focuses. If it is a simple point and shoot
camera, you will likely indicate which part of the
picture to focus on by following these steps:

a. Aim so the object you want in sharp focus
is in the center of the viewfinder.
b. Press the shutter button down half-way and hold it.
c. Move your camera until you have the composition
you like best (see tip #3).
d. Press the button down the rest of the way to take the picture.

6.Experiment with Shutter Speed

One of the most basic, overlooked, and fun aspects
of photography is that you have the power to slow
time down or catch a split second.

One image happens so slowly that we could never see
it and the other happens so quickly in real time
that we would never notice it. Play with shutter speed!

Use a slow shutter speed and a tripod to make a
pretty picture of any creek or stream. On the other
hand, you can use a fast shutter speed (1/500 and up)
to capture an object in motion.

Combining a fast shutter speed with a long lens,
you sports buffs can get a trophy of your own when
you are able to catch the expression on your favorite
runningback's face as he slips past the final defense
toward a winning touchdown. Remember, catching the
moment in fast-paced action photography may take a
little more practice so hang in there.

7.Look at the Light

By this, I don't mean look into the sun - no,
that won't do at all. But it is good to see what
kind of light you are working with. Which way are
the shadows falling? Unless you want a silhouette
effect, where your subject is black against an
interesting background, it's generally best to
shoot with the sun behind you.

How is the light affecting your subject? Is the
subject squinting?

Is the light blazing directly and brightly upon
your whole subject? This works well if you are
in love with the bold colors of your subject.

Side lighting, on the other hand, can add drama
but can also cause extreme, hard-to-print contrasts.

Lastly, indirect light can be used to make your
subject glow soft and pretty.

8.Watch the Weather, Too

Look outside and decide whether or not you are
going to want to have the sky in your picture.

If it's overcast, simply keep the sky out of
your pictures as much as possible. This is usually
the best way to avoid both muted tones in your
subject and washed-out skies in your background.
You might also find black and white pictures of an
overcast day more pleasing than color.

When the day is beautiful, go ahead and make the
most of it.

If your camera allows for the use of filters,
purchase a polarizer. This will help you render
deep blue skies against bright white clouds,
richly contrasting colors, and other wonderful

9.Keep Your Camera Settings Simple

While you may wish to have "all the bells and
whistles" available just in case, you will
probably get the best results if you do not
try to use them all the time and instead learn
a simple set up that works best for you in
most situations.

This doesn't necessarily mean keeping your
camera set on "Program" - while this mode may
be perfect in its simplicity, it may be frustrating
in its tyrannical control.

Instead of relying on a fully automatic program,
pick a simple, semi-automatic program such as
aperture-priority and master shooting in that mode.
Then, you'll be able to control certain basics
without letting the other basics control you, and
thus keep that 150 page manual where it belongs -
in your camera bag.

Tip: if you want one accessory, bring a tripod.
This one item can solve camera shake issues and
help you get beautiful evening shots.

10.Be Bold

Don't allow yourself to be paralyzed by fears
of using the wrong settings, or an
non-politically-correct social policy.

If you are afraid of upsetting someone by taking
their picture, just go up and ask if it's okay.
Ask them to sign a release and offer a print in return.

With wildlife, adopt a low-impact method when
you go places where few photographers have gone
before. For the above photos, I put my camera and
telephoto in a waterproof bag and kayaked out into
Monterey Bay.

Be wise... but be bold.
